The Hege Helping Hands are a registered association of Gymnasium Eppendorf. It consists of pupils, teachers, parents, many other interested volunteers and sponsors, and is involved throughout the year in various projects, ranging from neighbourhood assistance and city-wide Hamburg campaigns to active support for development aid projects worldwide. These include, for example, the pupils„ collections for homeless people and children in need at Christmas time, the project trips of New Horizons to Namibia and South Africa, or the annual “Lebenslauf” on Social Day.
