The Hege Helping Hands are a registered association of Gymnasium Eppendorf. It consists of students, teachers, parents, many other interested volunteers and sponsors, and is involved year-round in various projects ranging from neighborhood assistance and Hamburg-wide campaigns to hands-on support for development aid projects worldwide. These include, for example, the students’ collection campaigns for homeless people and children in need during the Christmas season, New Horizons’ project trips to Namibia and South Africa, and the annual “Lebenslauf” held on Social Day.
