It has got around in Namibia: children who attend preschool in our project are given priority admission to state schools. 
As a result, more and more children from the surrounding impoverished settlements are seeking out our social projects. Of course, parents in Gobabis are also increasingly aware of how important education is for their children and are already queuing two days before the state school office opens. Early childhood education gives children a great chance of following a stable educational path.

In order to be able to admit as many children as possible into the educational projects of our partner project „Light for the Children“ and to ensure lessons in suitable rooms, the need for additional classrooms was high. The steps for children foundation therefore decided to build a new building with two classrooms. Thanks to the repeated generous support of the Reiner Meutsch FLY & HELP foundation, the construction is in full swing, as can be seen in the pictures.
