In Hamburg, the can is collected by an employee of steps for children after the foundation has received notification from the dentist. The dentist receives written notification of who is collecting the box together with a code word that the person collecting the box presents. In addition, your practice staff will make a note of the data on the ID card of the person collecting the can and confirm this with a signature on both sides. Please never give the can to a collector who has not been authorised in advance by the steps for children foundation. If you are outside Hamburg, please send the tin as an insured parcel, the steps for children foundation will cover the costs.
