How do I receive a dental gold collection box?
Simply fill out the form. In Hamburg, you will receive the dental gold collection box together with an information sheet by personal courier; elsewhere, it will be sent by post.
Do I receive a donation receipt as a dentist?
If the dentist sends this tin unopened to the steps for children foundation, no donation receipt will be sent. The gold is now treated as the property of the steps for children foundation and it also orders the melting in a refinery.
If I have the dental gold melted down myself as a dentist, do I receive a donation receipt?
Theoretically, yes, if I have the dental gold melted down myself and transfer the corresponding amount. However, as this is the patient's gold, the dentist is not entitled to a donation receipt.

The dentist receives written notification of who will collect the box, together with a code word that the collector must present. In addition, your practice employees record the identification details of the person collecting the box and confirm this with signatures from both parties. Outside Hamburg, please send the box as an insured valuables parcel; the costs are covered by the steps for children foundation.
