Enjoying wine to help the steps children in Namibia

We were once again able to have an information stand at the wine fair hosted by Gastronomie Pütter at the Anglo-German Club on the Alster in Hamburg and tell interested visitors about our work with children and young people in Namibia and Zimbabwe. But we were not only able to run an information stand during the event; Gastronomie Pütter also supported us financially and donated half of the admission fee to steps for children.

Andreas Roß, member of the board, was actively supported at the information stand by our volunteer helper Carina Marxsen, who was also a volunteer in Okakarara in 2019 and was able to share experiences and stories about the children there with the guests. In addition, some sewing products from our sewing workshop in Okakarara could be sold, such as a beach bag, a cosmetic bag or a shopper.

Dear Mr Pütter, we would like to thank you most sincerely for your commitment and that of your guests, and for once again providing us with this wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of our efforts in Namibia for children and young people from the poorest backgrounds.
