These or similar questions have been reaching us more frequently lately. We keep receiving messages asking where our fundraising feature on Facebook and Instagram has gone…the short answer: Meta no longer offers it. But we can offer you an alternative, which you can also share through your usual channels. It all works without any complicated registration, and you can personalize the campaign – for example in support of the Schutzengel children. Of course, we will also provide you with flyers, posters and other materials so that you can tell your guests all about our activities in Namibia.

Our organization steps for children has been committed for many years to disadvantaged children in Namibia and Zimbabwe. Through fundraising campaigns such as the birthday fundraisers you initiate we can finance important projects and give the children on the ground a better future.

8 useful tips and hints for creating your own fundraising campaign

It is best to use a photo of yourself so that your friends, guests and family members immediately recognize who initiated the campaign. - Personalized texts: Write your own texts for the campaign title of your fundraising campaign, the campaign description and formulate your own thank-you message to your guests.
- At any time, you can change information or entries in your own fundraising campaign (fundraising goal, duration, messages). If this should not be possible, please contact us at info@stepsforchildren.de
- Donors can also choose to donate anonymously. Each person decides for themselves how much they wish to donate and whether their name is publicly visible.
- Note: If donors would like to receive a donation receipt, we need their full address details.
- Automatic reminder: As the initiators of the fundraising campaign, you will be automatically reminded when the fundraising campaign has reached the fundraising goal you set or when half of the time you set has already elapsed.
- Share your campaign via email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Facebook – following the motto: Do good and talk about it.
- Campaign report: Following your fundraising campaign, we will send you a report on how the donated funds were used, which you can then forward to your guests.
