Hole in One for steps for children

A real win-win situation

Anyone who plays golf knows that a shot like this requires a lot of training, skill and a bit of luck. It is like winning the lottery for a golfer. With just one shot, Oliver Seitner managed to sink the ball on hole 1 at Golfpark Weidenhof in Pinneberg over a distance of 254 metres on 3 September 2020 at the 4th wph Charity Golf Tournament in aid of steps for children. 

The wph Charity Golf Tournament raised a five-figure record sum, made up of the participants’ donations and a raffle with attractive prizes, as well as an extraordinary donation for the “Hole in One” – after all, a shot like this deserves recognition. Because it is a matter of etiquette that whoever achieves a hole in one pays at the clubhouse after the tournament. To our great delight, this ritual was turned into a donation.
