The implementation of the necessary hygiene measures in lockdown phase 3 has begun successfully. Take a look at the almost routine procedures that take place every morning in all steps and steps partner projects. The children and young people have now also got used to the procedure. Above all, they are happy that a bit of normality is returning to their everyday lives and that they can learn and play regularly in the projects again.
Here you can see the current hygiene rules pinned to the wall of a building in Gobabis. But they also apply in our other projects.
Firstly, hands are sanitised on entry, as Santiago, a pre-school teacher in Gobabis, demonstrates here.
Ivanshia, Bridge of Hope project manager in Rehoboth, trains staff here at the start date on a Monday morning.
The forehead thermometer is also used in the projects.
The children stand patiently waiting, keeping their distance, until it's their turn.
The temperatures at the table are documented in a notebook for all children and staff.
We would like to thank all donors for their support in procuring hygiene products and clinical thermometers.
