steps for children Foundation is looking for an intern (m/f/d) in the field of event management
steps for children is a non-profit foundation committed to a better future for underprivileged children and young people in the Global South. As part of our internship program, we offer an internship position with a focus on event management. The internship lasts 2 – 3 months from September – November 2024 and is aimed specifically at female students in the field of event management.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- Support in the planning, organisation and implementation of events
- Coordination and support of participants, speakers and service providers
- Research and selection of venues
- Creation of event materials and presentations
- Support in the follow-up and evaluation of events
We are looking for applicants who meet the following requirements:
- Studies in event management or a related degree program
- Enthusiasm for the organisation and implementation of events
- Motivation to support children and young people in developing countries
- Confident handling of MS Office and common event management tools
- Ability to work in a team, reliability and a structured way of working
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
