On 21.03.23, steps for children took part in the successful Moneymoon event organised by the Theodor Heuss School in Pinneberg took part. Organised in a colourful and varied way by the ninth-grade students, the event showcased the charitable work of the student body, which benefited various invited NGOs.
Accompanied by the students' own cultural performances, the invited NGOs also presented their social, environmental and global commitments, which were selected by the students and supported with donations. The Moneymoon at the THS not only attracted a considerable number of committed organisations and students, but also celebrated civic engagement.
An evening that gives hope, especially in these critical times. With their four-figure donation, we can finance the school attendance of six talented children from Namibia's informal settlements for one year, who would not be able to afford to attend school without this support. This is not the first time that the school association THS tut Gutes hilft steps for children: last year, the student body supported guardian angel children in Namibia with several campaigns.
