 The training and further education of our teachers is indispensable, especially for teaching all grades.

We started at the Okakkarara preschool in 2006 with 30 children. Since January 2011, up to 80 children between the ages of 5 and 7 have been coming to school every year, five mornings a week. There, the children learn and play together so that they are well prepared for the start of school the following year.

Some of the children are not orphans. Some of their parents are able to pay a small contribution for school and food. In this way, they also support the orphans.

Melba, the head of the preschool, says: „The performance of the children who went to preschool with us is better than that of other children in primary school. The report cards of the children who attended preschool with us show that from the first grade onwards significantly better results for almost all than the average in their class.“ This shows how meaningful and sustainable our holistic education is! 

Teaching in the preschool is carried out by four trained and permanently employed teachers and an assistant. steps finances state training for the teachers and organises training and further education by specialists from Germany.
