We are very pleased that an idea is being implemented in Rehoboth that enables children and their families to have meals despite major infrastructural limitations. At Bridge of Hope's soup kitchen, food baskets are being prepared that families and children in need can collect starting this week. This means that Bridge of Hope can currently provide 211 children, and Otto Gamseb 80 children, with at least the essentials!

The steps children in Okakarara are currently being cared for by their relatives on surrounding farms. The seamstresses, gardeners and the assistant Sussie in administration, as well as the guesthouse operations, continue their work, as these activities do not yet pose any health risk.
