Solar ovens for all steps projects

[:en]

I am now back in Germany, but I would still like to report on an event afterwards. Henk Olwage, project manager in Gobabis, demonstrated the use of the solar ovens made in the carpentry workshop in Gobabis at the project managers’ meeting in Okahandja.

Each steps project now receives a solar oven for testing. This is intended, on the one hand, to save energy costs and, on the other hand, to make the solar ovens better known.
In addition, we want to provide one device to all our steps homes families in Gobabis. This will allow the families to save on firewood costs, and we hope the neighbours will also be encouraged, with our support, to acquire a solar oven themselves. In the long term, this could help counter further desertification and soil erosion.

I am now back in Germany back, but from a story I would subsequently be reporting. Henk Olwage, project in Gobabis, demonstrated the use of solar ovens made in carpentry in Gobabis with the project leaders‘ meeting in Okahandja.

Each project receives steps now to test a solar oven. This is to save the cost of energy and made known to the other the solar ovens.
In addition, we want to make a device available to all our steps homes families in Gobabis. So the families can save the cost of firewood and the neighbors are excited hopefully to also to do with our support a solar oven. In the long term could be as to counteract the further desertification and soil erosion.
