Back to school in Namibia

At the start of the school year, which in Namibia takes place at the beginning of the year rather than in the middle of the year as it does here in Germany, all preparations are made in the projects. 

The steps students are already picking up their materials

School notebooks, pens, parchment paper for art classes, craft supplies and school backpacks are being purchased. The first children have already been able to pick up their things on site.

Additional costs due to increased disinfection measures and masks

They are all immensely happy when a little normality resumes after the holidays and structure is provided. As before the holidays, classes will be held as is currently possible: in small groups and at staggered times, with many disinfection measures and masks, so that the risk of infection is minimised and the projects can still welcome all the children regularly.
