In the middle of December Santiago, a teacher from our project in Gobabis, made his way to us in the far north. This is the second time he has visited Germany for two full weeks at the invitation of SUNI e.V. The non-profit association organises exchange programmes and provides networking opportunities. Through intercultural exchange, knowledge transfer and further training programmes, living and learning conditions are improved together with us and other partner schools and projects.

Many of our volunteers know Santiago from Gobabis and were delighted to see him again in Hamburg, including Christine Leege, Barbara Atorf, Janna Ross, Lisa Bartels and Carola Wüpperling. The latter worked on a major art project in Gobabis in 2016.
Over a cosy Advent tea, Santiago talked about our partner project „Light fort he Children“ in Gobabis, his family and his trip through Germany. Santiago is currently completing a steps-financed training programme at the Institute for Open Learning.
Dear Santiago, come back soon!
