On 01/03/2017, the volunteers from steps for children and the steps team met for a cosy dinner at Salat Paradies in Barmbek, a thank-you to our committed supporters for the work carried out in 2016.

At around 6.30 pm, the info stand team kicked off with a review of last year's assignments and a look ahead to possible activities in 2017. From 7 pm, the room continued to fill, with more than 20 volunteers in total. There were happy embraces among old acquaintances and curious handshakes between new faces. After a warm welcome from Michael Hoppe, Stefan Wolfschütz and Simone Damak, the main thing done over dinner was talking about time spent at steps and catching up on what the others had been doing. This led to a wide-ranging exchange about their own experiences, working with steps, criticism and feedback, as well as new ideas and suggestions for steps.
