Since 2006, steps for children has been committed to supporting children and young people in need, many of whom are AIDS orphans, and whose families are affected by HIV/AIDS. Through our social projects, we want to enable the children to live a life beyond poverty and hopelessness. To achieve this goal, steps for children promotes the holistic development of the children’s personalities and prepares them for school through various educational measures such as crèches, pre-schools and after-school care. Our Guardian Angel programme also makes a major contribution to achieving this goal. We are especially pleased that three of our Guardian Angel children from the first generation are now in Year 8 and therefore in secondary school. We wish them all the best on their continued school journey and will continue to accompany them with the help of our Guardian Angels.

To achieve this goal encourages steps for children, the holistic personality development of children and prepares them through various training measures such as nurseries, preschools and after-school care for school. Also our Guardian Angel program makes a major contribution to achieving this goal. We are particularly pleased about the fact that now there are three of our guardian angel children from the first generation in the 8th grade and therefore in high school.
