The Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and many of us are wondering how we can bring joy to our loved ones. Instead of buying traditional gifts, why not do something good this year and donate instead of giving presents?
A great way to help others while also making a special gesture for Valentine’s Day is a gift donation. Instead of giving flowers or chocolate, you could put the money to good use by donating to a charity.
As a foundation, we support disadvantaged children and young people in Namibia and offer educational opportunities, regular meals and support for children growing up in the poorest conditions. Through your donation, you can help ensure that these children have a better future and can realise their dreams.

So if this year you want to do something special for Valentine’s Day here are some tips for a gift donation, that helps the steps children in Namibia:
- Find out about the work of steps for children and how your donation can help.
- Think about an amount you would like to donate: You can find a selection of needed items HERE
- Write your partner, friend or friends a card explaining that you have donated instead of giving a gift, and also create a gift certificate. This is very easy to do in our donation forms.
- Share your donation on social media and encourage others to do good on Valentine’s Day too.
