When CSR is lived

Following our appeal for help, the CSR team at Brother International GmbH quickly approached former employee Jochem Ihmig and made a generous 4-figure contribution to help in times of need.

Thanks to the donation, steps was able to distribute food parcels to over 10 families from the informal settlements. The parcels were enough for around three months and have given people a little hope and confidence in these dark times. The donation was also used to pay the salary of a steps teacher for a whole year.

The children and young people of our steps projects are very happy that a bit of normality and everyday life can finally return and that they can see their friends in the steps projects again. In addition, the children can once again receive hot meals in the steps soup kitchens and the time without regular meals has been bridged.

We would like to thank the CSR department of Brother International GmbH, and in particular former employee Jochem Ihmig, once again for supporting us once again in such an uncomplicated way and for giving the children and their families hope and standing by their side.
