When CSR is lived

Following our appeal for help, the CSR team at Brother International GmbH quickly reached out to former employee Jochem Ihmig and provided help in a time of need with a generous four-figure contribution.

Thanks to the donation, steps was able to distribute food parcels to over 10 families from the informal settlements. The parcels were enough for around three months and have given people a little hope and confidence in these dark times. The donation was also used to pay the salary of a steps teacher for a whole year.

The children and young people at our steps projects are very happy that a little normality and everyday life can finally return and that they are allowed to see their friends again at the steps projects. In addition, the children can once again receive warm meals in the steps soup kitchens, and the period without regular meals has been bridged.

We would once again like to sincerely thank the CSR department of Brother International GmbH and, in particular, former employee Jochem Ihmig, for supporting us once again in such an uncomplicated way and for jointly giving the children and their family members hope and standing by their side.
