Worldwide, over 700 million people cannot read or write. Especially for girls, access to education is still additionally hindered in many countries. We are also continually confronted with the issue of illiteracy at our project sites in Namibia. However, in order to be able to lead a self-determined life, education is a fundamental prerequisite that must be encouraged early on. This is already done in our projects with the youngest children and, in particular, in our preschools, which are an integral part of all project sites. We are continuously dependent on donations to support the children.
