One World Day at Edith-Stein-School

Edith-Stein-Schule Ravensburg & Aulendorf is a vocational school for nutritional science, health, home economics, agricultural economics, environmental technology, social pedagogy and childcare. The school in Ravensburg combines vocational training, vocational college and vocational high school.

The educational institution is committed as a UNESCO project school. In order to achieve UNESCO's goals, the school addresses many of the topics in lessons, but also communicates them through extracurricular activities.

Once a year, the One World Day is held, and on 30 November it was that time again. The One World Day was held with a wonderful pre-Christmas bazaar, whose proceeds go, among other things, to steps for children. The bazaar had plenty to offer: Christmas and farmers' market, photo booth and raffle, Advent wreaths and book flea market. In addition to information about projects such as “Go East”, “Bangladesh” and the “Children’s Rainforest Project”, detailed information was also provided about the steps for children foundation. Here, students, teachers, friends and acquaintances of the Edith-Stein-Schule were able to learn about our foundation’s work in Namibia and Zimbabwe.

We would like to sincerely thank the teacher responsible Gertrud Wöllhaf and the students of Edith-Stein-Schule Ravensburg & Aulendorf for their outstanding social commitment!

This compilation gives a great impression of the wide variety that the One World Day had to offer: this.
