The meeting with our former volunteers who had been in Namibia during the last 3 years took place for the second time in Hamburg. An inspiring room with a view of the skyline had been found by Cornelia Richter, a long-time supporter. After an introduction round, people discussed their time in Namibia intensively in small groups. What had been learned, what experiences were new and where could something be improved for all those who are yet to come?
Michael Hoppe was also there for the participants despite his stay in Namibia and answered important questions in a live call.
After a strengthening pizza break, it moved on to phase two, brainstorming for actions: what is fun, where would we like to get involved ourselves, what is important to us?

Two ideas emerged, which will be implemented decentralised and where organisational talents can get involved.
Over a cool drink in the evening, people continued discussing shared experiences, ideas developed and how they could be implemented in a cosy round, and the next morning they continued thinking over a breakfast bowl in the Breakfast Club.

Many thanks to Barbara Atorf for her help with planning and implementation of the meeting and of course to all participants.
We look forward to seeing you again!
