On Friday, 4 August 2017, Mr Wolfgang Brune from Lilienthal showed pictures and videos from his two trips to Namibia and Botswana in 2014 and 2016 in the summer garden of the “Bahnhof Neu St. Jürgen” restaurant in Worpswede. On his second trip in May 2016, he also visited the kindergartens run by steps and its project partner in Windhoek and Okakarara. In Okakarara, he and his fellow travellers also stayed at the steps guesthouse.

“The motto of my talk was ‘Screen safari through southern Africa’. 120 visitors attended this event, and I was able to give them a closer look at the diversity and beauty of the two countries, Namibia and Botswana. I also reported on the work of the foundation steps for children. Since I had been there in person and had first-hand information, I was able to present the subject very authentically,
I did not charge admission, but asked for a donation to the foundation steps for children. This enabled me to transfer a solid three-figure sum to your projects.”
We congratulate Mr Brune on his successful initiative, which was by no means his first. Mr Brune also gives his talk in the Hamburg area – if you are interested, please feel free to contact our office: Tel. 040-389 027 88.
The steps team would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to Mr Brune for his wide-ranging support!
