The hunger remains

Some children have the opportunity to stay on a farm in the countryside and are provided with meals there. But the others still need to be fed. In this situation, complying with government requirements is almost impossible. Because…

Teaching children to keep their distance from one another and monitoring that they do so is hardly feasible. At the latest after eating, they are playing together very closely again, and in some cases up to 10 people live in a small tin hut in the urban slums.

children suffering from hunger are not an option. Especially since only with sufficient healthy nutrition can they strengthen their immune systems against the virus.

…the regular handwashing is mandatory, not just now. Nevertheless, we pay special attention to it and monitor it especially now.

We have decided, within the scope of the legal possibilities, to continue distributing meals if there is a need. If one child or several children come to our kitchen, they are provided with healthy meals.
