A lively general meeting

Lively general meeting – watch here

The support association Steps for Children e.V. invited members to its annual general meeting on 3 December 2024. More than 60 participants, both on site and online, made for a lively evening and engaging conversations.

We have recorded the event sessions for you to watch again, so that those who unfortunately couldn’t attend can also take part.
Note: A subtitle is also available and can be activated manually.

Look forward to exciting insights into the latest developments at the steps for children foundation!
Dr. Michael Hoppe, the founder of the foundation, reports on current developments and projects.
(35:17) Anette Lohle offers a personal insight into her Voluntary Social Year at steps in Okakarara.
(53:13) The student Clenda Miranda also talks about her studies and her time as a guardian angel child in Okakarara.
(01:08:04) Finally, Britta Rating and
(1:18:29) Hanno Hafkemeyer share their experiences from the project trip.

Our heartfelt thanks to all participants!

In particular, we would also like to thank our steps student Clenda Miranda from Windhoek and former volunteer Anette Lohle for their comprehensive insights into life and work on site at steps in Namibia.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the travel and research reports by filmmaker Britta Rating and Hanno Hafkemeyer, a member of the Board of Trustees of the steps for children Foundation, both of whom travelled to Namibia on a project trip with foundation founder Michael Hoppe and board member Andreas Roß in recent weeks to personally get to know the work of steps for children.
