6th wph Charity Golf Event
in support of steps for children
To our great delight, wph Wohnbau und Projektentwicklung Hamburg GmbH organised the 6th charity golf event in support of steps for children and far exceeded its target donation amount. Thanks to initiatives such as the „€50 per birdie“ and „€150 per eagle“ campaigns, as well as other generous individual donations, a record five-figure sum was raised.

Golfpark Weidenhof in Pinneberg once again provided the venue this year. Sixty-three golfers took part in the tournament, and nine people tried their hand at taster golf. As usual, wph did not charge a registration fee, provided food and drinks, and asked for donations for steps for children instead of an entry fee.
„The property industry itself is in difficult waters. All the more remarkable, then, is the high amount donated. It shows how important it is to our guests, our friends, to come together for this good cause. We are very grateful for that,“ says Simon Vollmer, Managing Director of wph Wohnbau und Projektentwicklung Hamburg GmbH. „We hope this continues in the years ahead.“
Dr Michael Hoppe, founder of steps for children, reports on our project locations and the current situation in the project country.
Many guests once again found the current situation report from Namibia by Michael Hoppe very enriching, and afterwards there was an open exchange about the current situation in Namibia and the travel conditions.
On behalf of the steps children on site and the entire steps team, we would like to thank all the golfers and the organising team
at wph for their commitment and for once again staging this special event in such a wonderful way in support of steps for children.
