We currently support 4 steps homes families in Gobabis. In the slums, women who already care for their own or other people’s children also take in additional orphaned children. For 2015, we still need support for two steps homes families. With €1,740 you pay for a family for one year for the food, medical care

We’re building a new roof over the heads of our preschool children in Rehoboth. We’re currently collecting for the equipment for the preschool, and until the needed €3,000 there’s still plenty of room. Help out and donate any amount you like. In the steps preschool in Okakarara, children learn and play every day—up to 80 children aged 5 to 7. A good preparation for the subsequent primary school is extremely important for the children’s further educational path. Holding a pen, drawing, and writing the first letters is practiced here too. In Rehoboth, steps for children supports the two preschools and kindergartens of the two projects Heart for the Children and Otto Gamseb. In total, over 100 children attend these facilities.
