The talk for a good cause is hosted by Heike Werner von Niessen. Among others, she interviewed Joko Winterscheid, who became known through MTV Home. She also talks to well-known people from film and television such as Eckhardt von Hierschausen. She commendably uses her reach to support nonprofit organizations and makes a significant contribution to making smaller NGOs better known.
Heike Werner von Niessen is the owner of a cosmetics line and an event planner with a charitable focus. She is also an ambassador for the Prof. Dr. Eggers Foundation, which supports mentally ill children and young people, and works with the German Innovation Festival. She does not stand still, and for that we thank her very much.
This time, the founder of steps for children was a guest on her show and presented the current challenges facing steps for children in Namibia in a conversation. In a short 13-minute video, founder and chairman Michael Hoppe introduces the foundation. He speaks together with Heike Werner von Niessen, who launched the video blog “WernerTalk.TV” for a good cause. The foundation's founder explains what he has been doing with steps for children for the past 15 years: providing children and young people in Namibia and Zimbabwe with educational opportunities and breaking the cycle of poverty through income-generating measures.
