On Friday, August 4, 2017, Mr. Wolfgang Brune from Lilienthal showed pictures and videos from his two trips to Namibia and Botswana in 2014 and 2016 in the summer garden of the restaurant "Bahnhof Neu St. Jürgen" in Worpswede. On the second trip in May 2016 he also visited the kindergartens of steps and his project partner in Windhoek and Okakarara. In Okakarara, he and his fellow travelers also lived in the steps guest house.
“The motto of my presentation was 'canvas safari through southern Africa'. 120 visitors came to this event, to whom I was able to bring the diversity and beauty of the two countries Namibia and Botswana closer. I also reported on the work of the steps for children foundation. Since I was there and had first-hand information, I was able to convey the topic very authentically.
I didn't ask for admission, but asked for a donation for the steps for children foundation. So I was able to transfer a good three-digit sum to your projects.”
We congratulate Mr. Brune on his successful campaign, which was by no means his first. Mr. Brune also offers his lecture in the Hamburg area - if you are interested, please contact our office: Tel. 040-389 027 88.
The steps team would like to thank Mr. Brune for his diverse support!
