Our steps children in Namibia have been benefiting from the successful campaigns of "School at the Garden City" supported. These activities are well known by pupils, teachers and parents and have a permanent place in everyday school life.
This is how the Class 4d Last year raised a considerable sum in the three-digit range for the steps children in Okakarara. And the bush café on the school premises was also very popular, so that the children in Okakarara can be generously supported with the prize.
This year the school came up with one more creative campaign: Marita Sauer's class tirelessly collected large quantities of rose hips, apples and mirabelle plums on the school trip. These were made by Mrs. Sauer delicious jams processed and sold in school. Once again, the proud proceeds go to the children in Okakarara.
A huge thank you to all small and large helpers and contributors, bush café drinkers, fruit collectors, jam connoisseurs and facilitators!
Many hands for many happy children in Okakarara. The “School at the Garden City” is closely linked to our project in Namibia. We really appreciate that!
